Ivor Wynne Stadium, Hamilton Ontario
Agents Mulder and Scully are called in to investigate the sudden appearance of a professional football team. A decisive victory over a historic rival complete with passing touchdowns, sacks, limited penalties and even an interception brought back to the house.
Scully of course is initally skeptical. She points out the blue team's inability to stop the run, aging veterans and perhaps over confidence given Hamilton's injuries.
Mulder points out the renewed team spirit from the starting QB, uniform selection and the black and gold skies (thunder storm and dazzling sunset).
Was the victory due to basic football principles properly executed or some other mysterious forces? The duo fails to make a conclusive report. Part Two will be next week in Winnipeg.
