Hamilton, Ontario – Hamilton Tiger-Cats general manager Bob O’Billovich announced today that Charlie Taaffe will remain as the team’s head coach.

“After several meetings and in-depth discussions with Charlie about our football team, I am confident that we have the right coach to lead our team,? said O’Billovich. “Charlie is a coach who understands what it takes to win and I am confident that he has the ability to help develop this team into a championship contender.?

Taaffe, a two-time CFL Coach of the Year, was hired by the Ticats on December 15, 2006.

I am Thrilled ..

Now we need a DC and OC with CFL Experience.

Yes a good move.
Now we can expect the dominos to fall in Montreal and the various other open positions for coordinators in the league.

Can you say stability?
O'B is off to a good start with this decision in Steeltown.

I can't believe it took them that long to decide... :?

Agree, stability is key, thats why I am so happy that Edmonton is keeping with DM!

Keep building that new record!!!
