I was lucky enough to have a couple of hours to go check out the stadium in Guelph yesterday. After just a short period of time something became very apparent though with the seating. I am a platinum seat holder and I had seats in section 104 in the 8th row. The thing that became very apparent to me is that the bottom half of the regular seating will hardly be able to see any of the game because of the low grade of seating. Combine that with the running track that is between the bleachers and where the players will be standing and you may be lucky if you can see 1/4 of the field. I quickly changed to the east side bleachers which are far superior to these seats as they are elevated and on a better slope. My suggestion to the Tiger Cats front office is to have the players stand on the east side of the park otherwise there is undoubtedly going to be some very irate customers in the lower half of the permanent bleachers. Anyone go yesterday and have the same question?
I too was there yesterday …there are 32 rows in the permanent seating area , so what you are saying is, that row 16 to row 1 will have obstructed views ? I am in section 104 and my seats are amazing, I find it hard to imagine from what I seen that row 16 and down would not have decent viewing…but maybe , did not really notice , can’t imagine anyone building stands that would have half of them obstructed ------makes no sense.
I don't think yesterday was a very good indication on site lines. I know from the 8th row when I looked towards were a couple were standing on the sideline that it blocked out a good chunk of the field. It would presumably get a little better as you got higher but I didn't see it that way having gone to other higher up seats to see how they fared. And once you get a whole team standing on the sidelines like they do it will be crazy.
You are right though , I did notice that the east stands are very elevated and if it would help, then the player benches should go on that side if its going to create issues with them being on the west side .
Get every Ti-Cat fan to buy a loud Marine Air Horn at Crappy Tire and every time the opposition QB touches the ball to call signals they let the horns sound off, the noise would be deafening and make the 13th man in the stands part of the game!!!

You'd better not be sitting behind me with that horn blaring. I'll make you sleep with the fishes :D
That’s seriously on par with bringing a ref’s whistle into the game and bogusly blowing it.
My suggestion is bring in queue cards with Ti-Cats are hummin’ and the Ti-Cat marching theme (or commit them to memory) and sing them in the most god awful voices possible behind the opposing bench.
