Doesn’t surprise me. Not a lot of class in the Bombers organization in the last few years. I’ve been to Winnipeg. There’s nothing to do there. Buddy was probably bored out of his mind. I think that city really needs a hockey team to keep them somewhat occupied during the CFL offeason…too bad they won’t get one!

Kind of a neat stat. I'm guessing Edmonton would be the only team

Eskimos had the 1st pick in 2006 - they took Adam Braidwood with it. Montreal’s the longest without the 1st pick overall - 1972 - they took Larry Smith. Montreal did have the first pick in the “pre-draft” in 1973 but I wasn’t sure how to count that - I’m not sure but those I believe were territorial claims.
