Well, they seem to be loading up on defensive linemen with the addition of Cheatwood as well (which I thought was a great pick-up). I am not sure how I feel about this one though. I saw him do some good things when he was in Montreal the first time around but part of me thinks that it's more of his non-import status which made Popp pick him up again.
Oh for sure it's the fact that he's a non-import; now we're covered in case Belli moves on again.
His signing pretty well counts Belli out, who will probably have to take a pay cut to go back to Hamilton or Toronto. Maybe Belli will surprise everyone and sign with Winnipeg or Saskkatchewan.
