We’re just days away from crowning the 111th Grey Cup champion, which means we’re also that close to naming a 2024 Grey Cup Most Valuable Player.
Here we are at Friday Morning of Grey Cup Week and the CFL has utterly failed to release the 2025 CFL Schedule. I’m sure if given a choice, the host city BC Lions Owner would have preferred to fill his stadium next year with Season Ticket Holders, rather than take home a dusty trophy from the Commissioner. It is obvious that Randy Ambrosie is just coasting until his last CFL Pay Cheque drops. The CFL Board needs to make it a job description “ESSENTIAL OUTCOME” of the next Commissioner that the next CFL Annual Schedule is always fully released at the “BEGINNING” of Grey Cup Week so the Host Owner can use the opportunity to capitalize on the Grey Cup Excitement and sell Season Tickets ALL WEEK LONG!!! Let’s make Grey Cup Week the best Season Ticket Selling Rally in CFL History. If over a decade every CFL Team hosts the Grey Cup then “every team” will have the opportunity to enhance their Season Ticket base which will go a long way to make every CFL Team more profitable. Speaking on behalf of a lot of CFL fans, we ask the CFL to just pay Randy Ambrosie out and get rid of this failure, we don’t even want to see his face anymore, especially during the Grey Cup!!!
