Are the 'Cats 5-5 with 10 pts in the standings, or are we 5-4-1 with 11 pts? In other words, do we get a point from the regulation tie, or zilch from losing in OT?
We get zilch for losing in OT.
They used to award a point for an OT loss.... when did they change that Pope?
They did it for three seasons 2000 to 2002.

The CFL has announced it will no longer award teams a point for overtime losses in the upcoming season.
The rule change is designed to encourage teams to win the game at the end of regulation instead of playing to go into overtime just to get a point.
Standings will now only show wins, losses and ties.
The league also announced tie-breaking procedures at the end of the season.
The first tiebreaker will be total overall points, followed by most overall wins and then wins in head-to- head matchups.
wish it was hockey rules, we could use that point for OT loss.
