Judging by the responses of Stamps fans after the Rider win, they seem scared and I dont blame them. I wouldnt want to play the Riders either. Calgary will show this weekend that they overachieved in the regular season. Time for bad Henry to show up.
LOL, some green yes, but not dominating , I look forward to the Stamps putting the hammer down. I also look forward to a nail biter, the likes of which only the CFL can deliver. Should my Stamps lose I will know they lost to a team that can be very explosive, and there is no shame in that. Should my Stamps prevail, I won't gloat, I shouldn't have to, gloating is for those who really don't believe to begin with.
I believe in the stamps, this team is a good one when firing on all cylinders. But I do expect the Rider fans that are there to be loud and the Riders themselves to put on a dam good show, and at the end of the game I hope for a Stamp victory but a barn burner in the process.
Looks like you are getting mentally ready for a Rider win! Very wise of you I must say. The shock of losing on Sunday could cause a heart attack for a lot of Stamps fans. Very good survival technique, Stamps fans take note. Please as a Rider fan I'm concerned for your health. :rockin:
Hahaha, I may have to bookmark this post, are you trying on purpose to jinx your beloved Riders? ok by me, I'm an old SOB and know better but none the less, good luck to the Riders this Sunday, I mean that
Definitely not, no way. Riders will dominate and win. No jinx here. Burriss will crumble under the pressure (he's only human unlike demi-god Durant). I'm honestly concerned that most of you Stamp fans survive. I mean it's almost as fun to beat you as Edmonton (and BC and Winnipeg and Als, and TO and Hamilton.. okay your all fun to beat who am I kidding?).
Seriously, I hope it will be a good game. No stinkers in the final 3 games would be nice. And a Rider win better. My two year old just gave the thumbs up watching JC again score the winning TD. It's so cute. He knows to give Edmonton and BC the thumbs down. Next lesson is on Sunday when we work on a Stamps thumbs down :thdn: :thdn:
Couldn't have said it better myself Stampeder67 except if i was saying it I would repalce the word Stamps with Riders and the Riders with Stamps. Here is to an exciting playoff game this Sunday.
Actually I was a lot more worried about a hot and rolling BC team was going to come to McMahon this weekend. They seemed to have Calgary's number the last two games they played them. Riders were crushed here earlier in the year, and a split in Regina with one going to OT. Not exactly something to hang your Rider hats on coming into the Stamps house. The two Calgary losses at home to BC were after very emotional and close games against Gangreene, which won't be the case this time around. I expect the Stamps to bring the hammer early (ie: as in pressure on defense and some quick strikes on offence) and often.
Oh and if I recall correctly, the last western final here was VERY LOUD in 2008. It's a playoff game with everything on the line. Rider Nation will definitely have a loudness battle for this game in Calgary. Durrant better wear his earplugs for this game, and by the looks of it his parka too!
