Stamps sign WR/Ret Chandler Worthy and LB Jacob Roberts

CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders announced on Saturday that they have signed American receiver Chandler Worthy and American linebacker Jacob Roberts.

Well the frequent questions as to why Worthy remained unsigned can now stop. The Stamps were one of many teams not considered to possess a high quality kick returner.

Absolutely agree with this discussion. A great Argo, solid player. Happy to see him return and surprised it took this long.

As a Stampeder fan I am glad that Dave Dickenson got this signing. I am surprised that he did this as in the past the Stampeders rarely sign players deep into the season. (unless there are significant injuries that force that action) Obviously the Stampeders can not continue with just the training Camp grads if they are going to get into the playoffs.
