CALGARY — Veteran long snapper Aaron Crawford has signed a two-year contract to remain with the Calgary Stampeders, the team announced on Thursday. The Medicine Hat product had been slated to become a free agent in February.

Yea, this was a no-brainer.

Aaron Crawford is one of the best to ever do it and has continued to impress me ever since I started tracking long snapper statistics.

Over the past 2 years, I have him snapping “Strikes” 92% of the time (116/127), which is truly elite numbers.
