Stamps sign defensive lineman Mike Moore

CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders have signed American defensive lineman Mike Moore.

A veteran of 70 career regular-season and playoff games with Ottawa, Edmonton and Montreal, Moore was a West Division All-Star in 2019 and last season led the Alouettes in sacks.

Nice signing for the Stamps and should fill the spot left open by Shawn Lemon going to BC.

One of the problems with Moore was that he was making too much money in Montreal which is unlikely now. Can play DE

Yeah, he's a tweener. Was top 10 in pressures last year. Only 2 other DT's were top 10 in a stat dominated by DE's - Lanier & Ceresna. Very good pickup.
