Stamps, Philpot agree to two-year extension

CALGARY — National receiver Jalen Philpot has signed a two-year contract with the Calgary Stampeders and will remain a member of the Red and White through the 2026 season, the team announced on Friday. Philpot had been slated to become a free agent in February and was ranked No. 30 on CFL.ca’s top 30 pending free agents list.

I’m hoping Philpot stays health and his performance improves over last season. Calgary still needs a receiver to help Begelton who ranks #1 for the Stampeders. That free agency Receiver has to be reliable and win the majority of the 50/50 balls to help Adams’s performance
