Given how the league ignored the kickers and the players association regarding their concerns over using the chipped ball, I doubt this would have worked.

I did not know that. Calgary’s closer than I thought to getting a brand new ‘Cozy Stad’ just like the Green Meanies and our very own “practically perfect in every way” (so said Mary Poppins) Bombers.
All it’s going to take is a darned good reason to start the ball rolling. Pan Am Games maybe? Summer Olympics? World Pickleball Tourney?

One of the greatest-ever Calgary Stampeders is coming to the franchise’s defence amidst a wave of criticism from ex-players.
“It’s not a bad place to be, man,” legendary CFL pass rusher Charleston Hughes said during an appearance on 620 CKRM’s The SportsCage.
“Calgary was where I spent the majority of my career and we won a lot of games in Calgary with the same type of culture for the most part. Nothing’s really changed in the way they approach games and the way they handle free agents. Everybody is still kind of under that Hufnagel-style umbrella.”

I see what went wrong in Cowtown is more to do with the fact covid hit with the double whammy of two spring leagues watering down the cash available and also talent pool for the CFL…
All that is water gone past the bridges and the Stamps roll once again be a power in the West.
BC and the Elk got WAY more troubles than the Stamps, the Riders and the Bombers

Wasn’t there a rumour that Murphy is leaving the Argos and may rejoin the Stamps? He’s a bit of a greaseball but definitely good at spotting talent. If that happens Calgary may be on the rise in 2025.

By far I am not any expert. But what I saw wrong with the stamps was certainly not the locker room.
I saw no real run threat not a guy at QB that was the right fit.
D as a unit did not get a passing grade
O line was good at times and bad at times…
The O line woes goes a long way to the success or fail of ANY run game or for that matter how good any QB will do for the season
