It appears that the Stamps QB may have taken a pay cut .

The article is about Reggie Begelton, he is a receiver. Calgary’s QB is Jake Maier. So where did you get the idea Maier took a pay cut from? I have not seen anything about that !

Reggie Begelton was the ONLY reliable Stampeder receiver last season. Calgary certainly needs him along with about 4 other reliable receivers like him.

He was deleted from the game roster and then added . That has been the pattern in the CFL when contracts are renegotiated .

You’re correct. Contract is restructured.

Found it

General manager Dave Dickenson gave Maier a $150,000 signing bonus as the 26-year-old took his base salary down $55,000. The QB nets more after taxes than his original agreement for the upcoming season and the Stamps benefit from extra cap space.

You’re welcome :slightly_smiling_face:

With lard ass at quarterback this teams going nowhere

This guy makes the stamps better. I would say any fan who would not want this guy on their roster has serious issues.
