STAMPS beat MONTREAL on the last play!

CALGARY 27 , MONTREAL 24 on a long last play F.G.

I go to 3 and 4 for this week and I guess that I wasn't so dumb picking CALGARY to win after all.

CONGRATS to CALGARY , you are not second rate

WHAT A GREAT GAME!

OOOHHHH YEEEAAAHHH!!!!!

And once again, great job from the refs, this is becoming a joke really.

Great game by the Stamps...but really guys...did we get beat by the Stamps tonight OR did Montreal beat themselves...But not taking away from Calgary congratulations

Good game Calgary. Your team played well and deserved the win.

Having the ball stripped from you isn’t something you’ve done wrong… that’s a strong defensive play. Keep this in mind too - Calgary should have had another 4 points out of the whole ā€œnon-fumbleā€ fiasco.

Bugger Bugger Bugger!!!!

Wish it went into OT, with Montreal winning it!

BTW, has any game thus far gone into OT?

Lucky win.

Calgary was lucky the first challenge of the Als did not go in their favour, for Thyrone Anderson really was inbound.

Calgary was lucky they got that third fumble recovery, which wasn't a fumble at all.

Calgary was lucky enough to recover their own fumbles four times.

Oh well. Calgary won, but they have yet to prove themselves worthy.

Grey Cup preview? With the Al's losing again and the cup staying in Alberta. I can see that.

Worthy of what?

If you're running with one hand on the ball and get it stripped, it is a mistake.

Kicker (Paul something) goes from having **** on his lawn in Saskatchewan to being invited to every block party in Calgary, which is now a 1 milion pop city, problem is that there is only 30 last names! j/k

I disagree with your point…the ball must be caught THEN protected, strong defensive play yes BUT to have it fumbled three times, I would say NO…I did say Calgary played well bUT Montreal committed so mny errors tonight along with the fumbles…Example the face mask at the end…they we’re just shooting themselves in the foot all night

KK: It's Paul McCallum, the manure was on his neighbour's lawn, and he kicks for BC.

What are you smokin? I think you have the wrong team bud. Macallum plays for BC.

My bad!

but would this have been the frist game this season to go into OT?

So if a Q.B. throws an intercepted pass is that a mistake or a good defensive play and/or both?

Montreal has been very good at punching out the other teams ball all season long. Just not tonight.

That's true, but Calgary fumbled four times, and recovered them all. We had a TD called back on a holding call.. everybody makes mistakes, a winner overcomes them.

The first challenge was close enough to go either way, and only through homerism could one see it one way or the other. Since there wasn’t enough evidence to overturn it, the call stood, and it should have stood.

The third Montreal turnover was a fumble. The replay clearly showed that the Calgary player stripped the Montreal receiver of the ball before they hit the ground.

As for the four fumble recoveries, it’s called hustle.

Sounds to me like sour grapes from a sore loser.

Agreed tonight Calgary got the breaks when they needed too and deserved the win…Montreal could not buy a break on the instant replay from Anderson…Never recovered any of their fumbles etc etc…BUT that is football and once again Congrats Calgary for an entertaining game
