Stampeders Season Done if Riders win at McMahon!

:cowboy: :rockin:

The Stampeders may be in serious trouble!!!!!!!!! If Henry continues to implode this week and the D of the Stamps is inconsistent the Calgary team's season may go down the tubes. Trouble in the changing room usually is the making of a divided team. So much talent but so little togetherness. Wow- I'd be worried if I was a Stamps fans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Riders Rule
Riders in 1st Place
Rider Pride Nation Wide!!!

It could also go the other way. If the team is able to work through the fight, it could bring them closer than ever, and make them a scary team going into the playoffs.

We'll have to wait until Saturday to see what happens...

You guys are as inconsistent as the Stamps.

And my guts telling me you guys are in serious trouble. :rockin: :cowboy:

A fight amongst team mates sure didn't put a spark in Edmonton! Hopefully we're looking at the same thing with the Stamps!

No shovels were involved.

Go Riders! Stamps were my favourite to win last year, and the year before that I picked the argo's to win but i'm glad the Rider's proved me wrong
This years pick: SSK all the way  2nd fav. team :rockin:

I hate to burst your bubble but Saskatchewan's flaws will come out this weekend, and its
going to start with your offense.

:rockin: :cowboy:

To chk out birdbrains confidence, see who he picked to win the game in big Dave's pool.

Game, set, match.

It is called covering your bets psychologically my friend. Gobble, Gobble!!!!!!!!!!!! :rockin:   that same vein of thought my feathered friend, I don't disagree with the statement on the title of this thread...a loss at home to the green and white would be catastrophic to the Stamps psyche at this point in the season, and would absolutely put any playoff game at McMahon in jeaprody, let alone the western final...

It would be traumatic, but not catastrophic.

Good thinking birdbrain, keep covering. It will be
safe to come out after Saturday's game.

well your guts suck!

Riders are the most consistent team in the west.

Right. Our last five games have been win-loss-win-loss-win. Hmmmm.....

Artie i appreciate you honestly.

Good luck to you, and lets hope for a good win...ummm i mean good one.

No, cflisthebest is correct… the Riders are the most consistent team in the West. They consistently come out strong in the first half, and then they consistently crap out in the third quarter.

...once again, cflisthebest has silenced the forum with his god-like football knowledge...

Another Bombers vs. Riders grey cup anyone??? still unlikely but anythings possible come playoff time!
but on note of this topic... despite the stamps recent troubles if anyone takes them lightly they are in for a big surprise, i still see calgary as the west power for now, eveyone has had some horrible stretches or has been inconsistent so i cant really see anything drastic happening.

But that's not even true...we were awful in the first half in BC.

Hey, I really, really hope the Riders win tomorrow, don't get me wrong. And I honestly believe they have a good enough team to win. However, over the last decade, the Riders record in games when they can really take command of something is zero and....whatever. It seems like they can win when they're not supposed to, or when their backs are against the wall, but have a heck of a time otherwise.

as bad as Calgary is playing they are still winning since sept 1

beat edmonton
beat edmonton
lost hamilton
beat bc
beat hamilton
lost montreal

you can't count them out. they are still finding ways to win. and Henry loves to play the riders, he has a tendancy to come up big against us. but i sure hope the riders get the killer instinct that they'll need to finish the season.
