Tough loss
Recover strong Malik
Is there a turf issue causing all these injuries???

I trust Dave Dickenson with his decisions but question why they re-signed Colton Hunchak ! I do not think he is a good replacement for Henry and the Stamps have some, what appears to be, greater American rookies who have stood out in the 1st pre-season game against BC.
Certainly bad news about Henry as the Stamps were counting on him. I can’t help but feel he is injury prone and should be released when he is better.

Malik Henry was one of the most interesting and talented receivers in the CFL. Henry’s dynamic pass-catching and swift running ability will be missed across the nation.

There is a turf issue 15 minutes before he ruptured his knee another player tore his Achilles no contact so know what you taking about before you talk about him being injury prone

If it was indeed a turf issue (where is the proof?) then why when he went up to catch a pass and came down he totally collapsed to the ground and had to be carted off .

Going up in the air has nothing to do with the turf. I am not a doctor nor am I an inspector of the Turf, so I chose not to speculate. But this makes 2 years in a row for Henry and that leaves the Stamps without a Wide Receiver position to fill again. One other (Auden Tate) has an Achilles problem , that could have been the turf but why didn’t others have that problem? The Achilles is subject to tearing if an unusual cut to one side is made that the Achilles couldn’t handle. Happens all the time to athletes. My son tore his playing soccer on a very good grass field. He made a cut and went down without anyone touching him.

A few years ago the Riders lost 3 guys in training camp with Achilles problems was their turf a problem too? That was at Mosaic Stadium that was only a few years old at the time.

Yes that was a turf problem quite possibly combined with improper pre workout streatch routines.
As I recall it day one of camp and all the injuries took place in a very short frame of time… I believe they had 6 or more players go down in a two day period within a few minutes of practice start time both days
