SPEEDY B..

3 of the wins larded with Argos.

I was one of Speedy's doubters in the past, never impressed by his route running, commitment to completing his routes when he wasn't expecting the ball, or his ability to catch and hang onto the difficult passes. He has proved me wrong by a long shot. He is a first class receiver, and a catalyst on the offence. I'm a convert!

And OTT had larded losses to TOR and MTL

Can only play the teams that are on the schedule . Maybe we should’ve asked the league if we could’ve had a different team to play instead ?

We beat up the weak and look good doing it but still havnt actually beaten anybody.
Next two weeks to flip the script or…

It all starts this Friday night . Not that I consider Ottawa as anywhere near upper echelon or anything special but they are far from being a weakling . For what it’s worth imo the only two teams that have looked halfway decent in the last few weeks are us and the Bombers . Dismissing the two hopeless misfit teams from Toronto and Montreal and the other teams have been up and down like a toilet seat down the stretch . The best team , the Stamps are a hurting unit and seem to be running out of steam heading into the play-offs . The Riders with the 2nd best record have been exposed as of late as being nothing more but a one dimensional smoke and mirror mirage act with no offence to speak of . As for the Esks and Lions , well only one of them is making the play-offs this year and our record against them combined is 3 and 1 (although we all know that it really should be 4-0) .

(although we all know that it really should be 4-0)
SHHHHH!! Don't let Crash know, he will get upset. ;)

Good thing it was padded to absorb the hit or Speedy would have probably broke the goal post!

Most pressing fact is OTTs defense is in the top half of most if not all defensive categories.
And plenty of evidence to suggest HAM has trouble executing against quality defenses.
HAM has to prove their statistical improvement is genuine and not padded by weak teams.

And, yes, HAM can play well and still lose.

A field goal perhaps?

There you go noticing things again

On hind site, that B.C. loss was the perfect thing to happen to us.

Tiger-cats finally responded to a legend on this board.

THEY WOKE UP!

Nope. Sorry

Love this.
Quote from Don Landry's Takeaways from Week 18 article on cfl.ca:

"Surprised to hear that Brandon Banks running into the goal post in Toronto was an accident. I figured he just thought he could knock it over."

Couldn't the goal post be used to create a "pick play" if the field position and coverage are just right? (Idea being that the defender is the one who runs into it - or has to swerve to avoid it - rather than the receiver)

Some receiver did just that, scoring a TD, in a recent CFL game and the colour man, on the telecast, commented on the player’s experience showing in how he used the post to get himself clear. I think it was Suitor who made the comment and the receiver might have been Tasker.

Mostly attributed to the defensive system run by Noel Thorpe. I mean, talk about a no-name defence. Who are Danny Mason, George Uko, Michael Klassen, and A.C. Leonard? The defensive line, that’s who. The only linebacker who’s recognizable is Kyries Hebert, but who the hell are Avery Williams and Anthony Cioffi. Still shake my head at how the Redblacks have remained in first place after 15 games played so far this season. There is no way that I think they are better than the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Only time will tell.

If we don’t claim first it will because we lost it not because OTT won it.

That unforgiveable “loss” in Vancouver really looms large now. Just think where the 'Cats would be if they were 2 points up with the head-to-head against Ottawa series coming up. If we can keep the late game coaching “decisions” out of it then we have a great chance of winning many more games.

Home losses to SSK and OTT are particularly glaring too
