It's a good deal for Cat fans and ticket holders to be given the opportunity to attend, it's too bad they missed the boat on opening the new THF when they had planned in July, I think many fans are in a wait and see mode with this team right now, too many disappointments.

It either means you’ve got a bunch of fans who won’t go to a game without being able to have beer at their seat, or it means you’ve got a bunch of season ticket holders waiting for THF to open - who don’t want to go to Mac or you’ve got a bunch of fans not impressed with a 1-5 record or maybe we are cheap. lol.
They only went on sale to non season ticket holders today (I think) so no doubt it will be a 6500 sell out just like the last two games.
There could also be people who didn't bother cuz they weren't given good seats. People who couldn't get their whole group sitting together so didn't buy any. People who bought seasons but couldn't attend this game. The allocations of the sold seats left a bunch of random single seats that season seat holders declined. People who just didn't like the previous Mac games.
Lots of reasons they wouldn't be able to allocate every single last seat which don't necessarily mean a lack of overall demand.
Put me in the waiting group. And the refund has been nice

I buy season tickets to see the Tiger Cats play. Not to sit and ogle at some stadium all game. I’ve gone to both games at Mac now and it’s not hard to get to by car or bus. Its a great stadium. The views are decent. While I am looking forward to playing in the new THF I could give a $^%^ where they are playing! I just want to watch our team play! And hopefully win this Saturday!
