what was the deal with the 2005 patch on the Edmonton and Calgary jerseys BTW?

....2005 was Alberta's 100th provincial anniversary......good signing for the Gades.....

ah ok!!!

wasn't it Saskatchewan's some improtant number provincial anniversary as well?

at least I'm on here to learn something. unlike some others on here, problem is, I can't hold it all in.

Lets get this right here, they're signing him until he's 40???? Bad decision, 2 or 3 years at the most.

Saskatchewan and Alberta both became provinces on September 5, 1905 if I remember correctly. I forget which of the two was first, but it's like twins, they're only a few minutes apart at most.

hm, intreresting.

Except for those living on the west side of Alberta and those on the east side of Saskatchewan.

at least they are filling one of their needs

The good news for the Gades is they can only go up from last year.

I guess a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel.

A match right now but anything can happen to turn it into a bombfire!

Filling holes, yes, but letting a lot of guys get away just makes bigger holes. Hamilton will remind them of that this season.

True, but wasting money on the number of years. You know as well as I do that he's going to be past his prime in the late terms of his contract. Come on now.
