So...who starts next game?

I think Brady should still get the nod. He was put in a deep hole last night very early which would have been hard for anyone to dig out of. Any thoughts?

Start Mike McMahon.. Just Kidding ...
Start Brady but have him on a Quick hook

[b][i] Here's an idea...flip the QBs each quarter and have Sir AC coach them for a week or two.

We beat the Lions last week because they had no plays on Lord Marcus to analyze. Show the Eskimos Lord Maas' heart next week, (with Calvillo's read) and we can't miss!

That said however, they will all have to “hit the ground running? on each playand NOT wait for the
4th qtr!

Start Brady. Our D didn't show up yesterday and you can't pin all of the loss on Brady. He was neither as bad as yesterday's showing nor as good as the week before. Give him another start against the same team and hopefully our D won't start handing out TDs like they're playing Santa Claus to a bunch of orphans.

Start Brady and leave him as long as the offence is in the game. If he falters, bring in Maas. Maas has been great coming off the bench to lead the team to points. He was respectable last week in relief but he was sensational coming off the bench in Edmonton and giving them wins.

Brady was OK, but Jason Maas is also a great QB and needs a chance to get a game of its own.

No disrespect intended, but Jason Maas was a great QB two years ago. Since coming to Hamilton, he’s been absolutely brutal. I’m not saying that he can’t bounce back, but his track record over the past two years should not give him any kind of preferential treatment. If he wants to start,he’ll have to earn it.

I don't put too much stock into what Jason Maas did over the past 2 seasons in Hamilton. His supporting cast was absolutely brutal.

Still, I believe that Brady fits the mold better as the team's future starter. Besides, I think he deserves a chance to bounce back. It's not like his team gave him much support during the game in Edmonton.

Agreed

Of course his supporting cast was brutal. But so was he. As much as I hate it when people try to make Maas the scapegoat for all Hamilton’s problems, the fact remains that he has been very poor as a starting QB since being traded from Edmonton. He couldn’t throw the deep ball, missed wide-open receivers, and got picked off far too often.

Agreed. The trend in this league is shifting to athletic quarterbacks. Pure pocket-passers are becoming less viable. That's why I think Brady is a better long-term choice.

Brady....

His play wasn't that bad considering all. He has to mixup his offence more and hopefully our great O.C might add in a few running plays. I liked his scrambling though, a great improvement on AC's sliding into second base move when we need every inch for a first down... gawd I hate that "don't hit me" feet first slide.

I'm still surprised at myself not getting excited about the upcomming game tomorrow. I can't remember the last time an upcomming game didn't get me going. It's a bad feeling.

Let us pray !!!
