or the Federal government is willing to pony up a full subsidy to build the Argos a domed year round use football specific stadium (with all the bells and whistles of course) just down the road from BMO at the old Ontario Place.

...and to be used for Grey Cups/INT Rugby/NHL Winter Classics etc etc due to it's weather controlled environment...

At first I thought, the Argo announcement. But then I was thinking that the CFL and the commish wouldn't make the Argos to BMO announcement in Calgary. I'm sure the Argos move would be announced at BMO stadium with Tory, Leweike, Braley and Porridge present.

Furthermore, I don't see an Argo announcement coming until sometime after the TFC home opener on Sunday.

They won't re-name the actual cup, the game or cup will be "presented" by Shaw.

Strange that it will have the Shaw as the presenting sponsor if true. Bell would have to give the OK on this, unless there will be different presenter every year.

Wow. It is Shaw. Makes me wonder if the BCE/Argo deal did fall thru. Hope they got some good coin for this.

Correct me if I am wrong but Shaw is more of a direct of Rogers than BCE - both are more cable based. That can not have helped an MLSE deal.
