Now I`m curious to see who his receiver coach will be this season - A.C. or Dinwiddie.
I would not be surprised if they both shared both jobs. I mean where QB’s practice your going to find receivers. I could see Calvillo focusing teaching in the flim room and Dinwiddie working their technique on the field.
Great news! With free agency only 13 days from now, I was becoming a little nervous; I was quite less confident that I was in December. Happy that he re-signed. Congratulations to Jim and S.J. and the Als . Looks good for 2015.
While Austin Collie may already be signed, it was extremely important for the Als to wait before making the announcement. Today was S.J.'day. If Collie has signed,we could get the confirmation this week or early next week.

I don’t think we’ll be big players in free agency but I’m AOK with that.
Come on Marcel. Go raid that Hamilton roster ![]()
I do agree that the Als won't be "big players" in free agency. The only player that I would like is Samuel Giguère.
Wonder what will happen with Jerald Brown and Geoff Tisdale? Now that the dossier for S.J. has been settled, there could be some movements. Will Kyries Hebert asked to take a pay cut/ I expect so and,if he refuses, could be released.
I definitely expect, sooner than later, releases of Dave Stala, Larry Taylor, Alex Brink,Dharran Diedrick. Chad Johnson remains a question mark.
As some of you, I would welcome Kevin Glenn; would be a good addition/short term solution.

I can see Jim making a fair offer to Giguere, now is that going to be enough for him to move home ? That will depend on him. Hamilton hasn't extended anyone but Tasker. I think they wanted to see what Breaux and Banks were going to cost before they started signing guys. Will be interesting how their strategy pans out. Could be big winners or big losers...
Even hints would be tampering; although a rudderless CFL is not a deterrent for such activity.
I expect what he said was in largely true, that after a few years of competing against the teams in a small league it is difficult to choose to switch teams. Very different from signing elsewhere after being cut/released/not re-signed. The exception would be the true mercenary.
Being around in the Trestman, AC heyday he may have felt it was time to move on.
In may give some insight that he sees the Als offense staff and players are back up to higher standards again.
With Turk returning as the OC the offense that was in place in the second half of the season will be in place from the start. AC onboard now to tutor QBs after Garcia had success.
Making a move to get another top receiver in Stamps and Sutton at RB looks like the main guy. Signing Blake should give them a 6th quality 0-Lineman.
Not on offense but hiring a FT Teams coach and a couple of real return specialists like Rogers and Rainey he could envision some much better field position from punts and kicks.
Not to mention what he may know the Als have their sights set on in Free Agency. Like a National Receiver like Giguere who also is a pretty good KO returner.
Teams OC, quality returners, and National talent at receiver all things that have recently been neglected 'till now.
That is because Green himself said “he got what he wanted” contract-wise. Amazing how that works, huh?
