Awe’s back to his old tricks again. Glad to see he’s paying the price (twice).

The officials from the lions/rider game should be in this list for their disgraceful officiating

How in the world grabbinv the inside of a helmet and pulling a players head back isnt on this list is absolutley ridiculous

Easily the dirtiest player in the league. He could have been fined three times alone when they played the Bombers and should have been suspended for trying to kick a player when he was down and out on the sideline. If I’m not mistaken the high QB hit he was fined for was not even called on the field.

I thought last season he was getting better, but this season has proven me wrong about that. Unfortunate.

I believe it was reviewed as well…it looked like a pretty clear call to me as he lowered his head and lead into the hit with the crown of his helmet.

Not impressed with Purifoy either - in any way. He is a bit of a dirty player too that has hurt as much as he has helped.

without a doubt.

his dumb penalties also hurt his own team in penalty yardage.

Quite frankly I couldn’t understand how he didn’t get an unsportsmanlike after that play when he was pretending to stop Crum into the turf next to where he was down after that high hit.

The league needs to “quietly” take care of guys like him and flag them anytime they step out of line until they become a liability on the field - or they get the point. But since they never seem to get the point just flag 'em to death.

They should bring back that vile but no banned from league former Saskatchewan insult to bag Awe!

Now, now, two wrongs don’t make a right, but they do deserve each other. How about a MMA match?

Both Marino & Awe are sub-human. Neither is a man. Both specialize(d) in going after real men who put themselves in vulnerable positions. Both Marino & Awe are Carl Panzram type monsters who deserve a fair and honest zapping!

If Marino came back Awe would thank him. It’s always nice to have someone worse than you around to take the heat. It’s why Awe flew under the radar last year.

Thing that gets me is both are talented as all get out. If they played clean they’d be well revered.
It’s obviously too late for Marino, but IMO Awe could still turn things around.

Awe has a bit of raw talent - but he’s a cheap coward. Doesn’t like taking on guys mano a mano. Likes shooting people in the back.
btw - if you get fined for malicious behavior 2 games in a row you should be suspended at least one game without pay. CFL far too timid to do that kinda thing!

The frustrating part from a fan point of view, is that this stuff goes on and on until someone gets hurt. Then they do something about the dirty play.

Maybe they need to give the team that the offence was committed against a “free 15 yard penalty” flag they can use when they want in the next match-up.

… Not a bad idea.
