Single Game Tickets

Hey all, some teams have presales for single game tickets if you subscribe to a news letter This is true for Winnipeg anyways. Do the riders have the same deal? I'd love to get a pair of tickets for Labour Day before June 1. Thanx.

No. The Riders will have about 25,000 season tickets. That leaves only 3,800 permanent seats and about 2,100 temporary seats available come June 1. There will be no presales of single game seats, and Labour Day will sell out by mid-afternoon June 1 at the latest.

Good luck.

Thanx for the reply. I guess I'll try my best on June 1. Last year I had to use stubhub to get seats. Peace.

While kinda on the subject....last year we found the online ticket selling site Very unfriendly. We had to search section by section as it wasn't set up for "best available" or "sort by price". Any advice. Stubhub was a rip.

Yeah, both are less than ideal choices. If you don't get tix June 1 by phoning in, try kijiji for Saskatoon and Regina. There's usually a decent number that come up on there as games approach. You may still pay a premium, but not outlandish service and shipping costs.

Thanx for the tips. We had a blast last year at the big game. People at the lounge and casino jeered at us but in a friendly cool way. Sounds like a new stadium under the land of living skies is required. Hope ya guys build a beauty.

There apparently was some kind of presale. My girlfriend & I were wanting to go to the Canada Day game, & Labour Day. She found out that there was a presale, & Labour Day is already sold out. Of course, some of those tickets will end up on EBay, Stubhub, etc, & hopefully not for too inflated of a price. So I guess we'll hopefully score some tickets for Canada Day, then see what we can do for Labour Day or whatever other game we might decide to go to instead. I'll admit I'm a bit bummed about Labour Day, but I can't complain. I have in the past obtained some primo seats for concerts thanks to getting in on presales by being a fan club member, or the occasional random newsletter email. Fortunately, I've been on the better end of presales and so on for events that I've wanted to go to more often than I've been on the worse end. In fact this is the first time I can think of where I've been shut out. So far. There are the previously mentioned sites, prize draws to enter, BP's ticket promo.... I'll find a way in.

I've never heard of any presales.

I'm not sure if it would classify as a "pre-sale" but flex pack holders could redeem their vouchers starting this last Tuesday (May 25th). Each flex pack had two tickets that could be used for Labour Day - I got two that way. The covering letter to the flex pack said that each flex pack holder could purchase up to 4 Labour Day tickets, which I understood to be 2 from the flex pack and two not. I didn't make the effort to understand the system for Labour day as I used all my other 8 flex pack tickets for my family and friend for the Canada Day game and don't need more for Labour Day. Perhaps someone else could clarify how that worked.

Well....my wife tried the phone operation first thing and actually got through within minutes. Sold out. Always Kijiji or stubhub or want-ads or.....anyone selling a pair?

Rider website said Labour Day sold out in 17 minutes.

Actually it was true, people that get the CFLinsider eletter from the CFL were given a presale opportunity. I used it to get tickets for a couple of games in BC and I know people that used it to get tickets for games at TF.

Here is a copy of the email I got on Wed May 26th:
