Simon Charbonneau-Campeau

With Fantuz out, Gigure moves to his slot position and Simon Charbonneau-Campeau moves to the wide spot.

I really liked what i saw from Simon Charbonneau-Campeau last week (the way he adjusted and went after the ball, and his good hands)

I'm hoping the slot position will allow Giguere to show us a little more somthin', somethin'

But, theyre' going up against some solid DBs.

I was quite impressed with him too. Big target. Good hands. Can take a hit too.

Charbonneau-Campeau did show solid poise and route discipline in his first outing and should ameliorate play with further experience.
correct me if I’m wrong, but did not Campeau not play inside the last game with Giggy as the wide out?

I dont want to speak to early, but S.C.C looks like he might be the real deal. He has soft hands and great control over his body for a guy who is 6’4. I really hope S.C.C can be our replacement for Stala when he retires.

By the looks of the depth-chart, Stala is sliding into Fantuz’s spot and nothing else changes from last game. I think S.C.C will be in Stala’s previous role which is as the 5th receiver on usually 2nd and long situations.

EDIT: I missed the story on Sammy and S.C.C on The Scratching Post so my previous comment was based on the depth chart.

My bad, sorry. I forgot to reference it in my post.

Here it is for others http://scratchingpost.thespec.com/2012/ … hance.html
