this guy is a mess…and clearly has anger issues as this is his second domestic incident cited in just over 3 months. (that we know of) whereas the GF declined to file charges against him.

It may be wise for her to dump Johnny’s behind tout suite for her own safety and well-being.

Even if he cleaned up his act and had a desire to play up here, are we all so sure he has the skillset to actually succeed on a much wider field? Sure he would have more room to scramble around, but if he doesn't have the arm strength to make a throw to the wide side of the field, he would fail miserably.

We have no need for his talent and his personality definitely does not fit our teams culture, so barring a negotiation list trade we can pretty much put this one to bed as “he’s never playing in the CFL”

You don’t understand how the neg list works. He’s on Hamilton’s neg list but they have no intention to sign him… according to you, so that means within 30 days of his agent notifying the Cats he’d be a free agent. Anyway there is no way the spoiled son of a billionaire is interested playing in the CFL, the salary wouldn’t even cover his bar bill.

I’m just trying to say, when was the last time you recall a CFL QB succeeding without having the arm strength to make a throw to the wide side of the field. That arm strength is so much more important than being mobile. People assume bigger field and someone who is mobile will automatically succeed but arm strength is even more important in the CFL than the NFL.

Although in the CFL being able to throw "drop it in the bucket" type throws with the wider field that doesn't require sheer zinger arm strength is a skill and Ricky Ray has been one of the best at it for years. I think this is a skill which can be taught more along the lines of a pitcher in baseball without a real fast fastball being able to throw different types of curves and off-speed pitches.
