Shaun King...Do we still own his rights???

With the release of Shaun King, I wonder if we still own his rights.
Not sure how many people know how good this guy really is. Here is a brief bio:

King played college football at Tulane University between 1995 and 1998,[1] leading Tulane to an undefeated season and in the process setting the single-season NCAA Division I-A record for passing efficiency in 1998 of 183.3. In the same year he became the first player in NCAA history to both pass for 300 yards and rush for 100 yards in the same game against Army on November 14th.

King subsequently was drafted in the second round of the 1999 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, his hometown team. His best professional season was in 2000, when he started all 16 regular-season games for the Bucs; after the team lost in the first round of the playoffs with King at the helm, he was replaced by Brad Johnson and relegated to a backup role for the following three seasons

I think we did at one time..
But I am not shure we do now

Who owns the rights to JOsh Bourke? that canadian olineman who cracked the roster in
Green Bay?

drafted by montreal in 2004. don't know if they still have his rights.

I have learned that we do in fact still have Shaun King neg rights.

He would shake up our QB depth chart to be sure, and could be the franchise QB for years!!
Seems to be very well suited for playing north of the border.

Here is a little side trivia:
Has a QB drafted as high as the second round (Shaun King) in the NFL draft ever played in the CFL?

Quincy Carter was drafted in the 2nd round by Dallas & he got cut in Montreal's Training camp this season thats the only one I can think of. Carter played in the pre-season lol does that count?
