Simon Fraser University, of Burnaby, BC, plays their first NCAA football game today.

I don't see it in my listing. C'est la guerre.

Enjoy playing in NCAA div 2. This is simply a money thing, but looks goof to me.
Oh well SFU has always been playing in American leagues from the start until 2001.

SFU football team was awful in CIS. They'll be just as bad in whatever their playing now.
What a joke. All their best players left to go other CIS schools.

The Clan wasn't that bad in recent years - they played in the Hardy Cup in 2008 and had a couple of wins discounted from them last year. Prior to that, yeah, they went winless in three seasons, but they had been just starting to turn it around.

I went to the game and it was pretty obvious that the team still has a long ways to go until they can really compete. WOU was on a completely different level, but that was to be expected. Oh well, one can only hope that they can at least score a point in the next game!
