When will our team be flying out to Regina ? What airline? From Toronto or Hamilton airport?it would be fun to give our boys a send off support/ Rally  :rockin:
I get that in theory its a good idea but unless people show up its a complete fail and I really dont see a ton of people showing up for something like this. People love to take shots at the CFL and the Ticats so id just hate to see that get brought up in a time that should all be positive.
Yes but a few years ago, when Otis Floyd was still our mlb, they held a playoff rally at Limeridge Mall that was well attended. I don't think there is enough time to organize one though, as the team will be leaving on Wednesday for Regina (I think).
Just listened to Coach Austin's Monday press conference on The Scratching Post. He indicated the team is leaving tomorrow afternoon for Regina. All 46 players on the roster plus practice roster players will go (they need players for the scout team of course). Luckily Bob's piggy bank isn't empty yet.
I guess we'll have to wait for the victory parade next week. Hopefully City Council ( ) is currently planning one.
Now that you said that I do remember that, I wasn't able to attend but people had said it was a good turnout and a fun time. If some sort of rally was to happen I think that would be the best place. But like you said I don't think there is enough time I thought I say a player tweet that they are heading out tomorrow (Tuesday).
Ken Welch said on CHCH sports tonight that there will be a sendoff rally at the Ticat offices at Jarvis St tomorrow @ 4:00 PM. Unfortunately I work until 4:30 in Burlington.
Fans of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats are invited to the team’s business office at 1 Jarvis Street tomorrow at 4 p.m. to help send the team off as they travel to Saskatchewan to take part in the 101st Grey Cup.
The Ticats will board a bus at 4:30 p.m. before heading to Toronto for their flight to Regina.
Pizza Pizza will provide complimentary pizza while Tim Hortons will offer complimentary coffee and Timbits to everyone on hand. The TigerTown Store will have several special offers including a 15% storewide discount (excluding jerseys) for those attending the rally.
Sadly, I have to work so I won’t be able to make it. Best of luck boys, start training in the freezer right now, because it’s gonna be cold in Regina.
:rockin: Proud of this team  great turnout , question ?will the Jarvis St Ticat head office , sales etc be moving down to THF? Next season upon completion of the stadium?
I wish I could have been there, but the flu kept me home today. Can you estimate the crowd?
Glad to hear there was a good turnout. Between today and Sunday's game, this team should clearly know that we'll be there in spirit, cheering them on.
I was never as proud to be a Tiger cat fan as I was when I looked about Skydome last Sunday at gametime and saw and heard the huge support. This team has played with conviction and character and overcame some amazing obstacles. That's something that will help carry them through the Grey Cup game.
I just wanted to say that I'm glad you made it out to Skydome. It really was a proud moment in TiCat history and I'm glad you were a part of it. I too felt a huge swell of pride when I looked around the stadium at my TiCat family. All 20000 or so.
