…I find all the exchanges, on the future of Orlondo, quite amusing.Who, on the list of titled TiCat management, would fire the HC, during or after this season?Since the team has no GM, although it does have three assistants to the GM, it would have to be the President of Football Operations, wouldn’t it? IMO, he’s been less efficient at his job, this year, than the HC has been, at his.

It would have to be Scott Mitchell, as President of Hamilton Sports Group, that would be the one to fire him. Of course, he is also a minority owner of HSG, so maybe the rest of the ownership would have to agree with the decision.

His contract is up at the end of the year though so unless they really turn it on and somehow make it to the GC, I believe the team goes in a new direction for 2024.Lots of potential good young candidates out there - Buck Pierce, Mark Kilam, Brett Monson (Hamilton guy by the way), maybe even Corey Mace. Time to look at taking a leap of faith with the next crop of up and comers.

If rather a CFL veteran like Jim Barker. Bring in a young protégé to study under him and take over one day.

What are ya talking about ? The last time was in 2017 where June turned an 0-8 team into a 6-12 team . He then followed that up by taking the ‘kids’ to the playoffs the next season .

The Ticats have improved since the first game of the season, and are starting to accumulate wins/climb their way into eventual playoff contender. Steinauer and his coordinators are working hard, and not going anywhere.

They can give it to Butler, but eventually they will key on him, and he will go nowhere.
To be successful, you need 2 RBs, or 1 RB and 1 FB.

We actually have that in STE and Garand-Gauthier . The question is will we utilize them ? The answer is probably not .

I think the line can run block against Edmonton.

I expect this game will be won, or lost, on the other side of the line, with two big challenges, for the TiCats – defending against a very fast running QB and Eugene Lewis.

It was a pun on Steins comment.

We’ll try to run the ball just like Condell did when we beat them in Edmonton. I don’t think things will look much different as most CFL teams run the same stuff anyways. Edmonton isn’t as good as Montreal so we should be in it, but every week a winless team is still winless the pressure shifts to the opponent.

Last game against Edmonton our one RB had 127 yards on 14 carries and 3 catches for 40 yards.
McAllister also gets carries periodically in our offense.
