Scott Milanovich

It would have to be Scott Mitchell, as President of Hamilton Sports Group, that would be the one to fire him. Of course, he is also a minority owner of HSG, so maybe the rest of the ownership would have to agree with the decision.

If rather a CFL veteran like Jim Barker. Bring in a young protégé to study under him and take over one day.

Any chance the title of this thread could be adjusted to try and break the disrespectful tradition of incorrectly spelling coaches’ names, in this forum? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Huge fan of what June Jones did for us!!!

You think June is new blood?

No disrespect intended.

The Ticats have improved since the first game of the season, and are starting to accumulate wins/climb their way into eventual playoff contender. Steinauer and his coordinators are working hard, and not going anywhere.

Hamilton has beat Ottawa and Edmonton.
Have they improved or has the competition been easier? We don’t really know this.

According to Power Rankings we beat the #4 ranked team. Twice in three weeks.

You can only play the team the schedule puts in front of you

Correct.

The schedule also put Toronto twice, Montreal and Winnipeg on it.

Not head coach but the new OC.

So what do we expect from Milanovich on Thursday? More of a run game?

Maybe, but I doubt it will help.
They can give it to Butler, but eventually they will key on him, and he will go nowhere.
To be successful, you need 2 RBs, or 1 RB and 1 FB.

I wouldn’t expect miracles

We actually have that in STE and Garand-Gauthier . The question is will we utilize them ? The answer is probably not .

My expectations are very much of the down to earth variety.

Does he use STE (who appears to be healthy) to compliment Butler? (as @bobo82 suggests)

I think the line can run block against Edmonton.

I expect this game will be won, or lost, on the other side of the line, with two big challenges, for the TiCats – defending against a very fast running QB and Eugene Lewis.

It was a pun on Steins comment.

We’ll try to run the ball just like Condell did when we beat them in Edmonton. I don’t think things will look much different as most CFL teams run the same stuff anyways. Edmonton isn’t as good as Montreal so we should be in it, but every week a winless team is still winless the pressure shifts to the opponent.

I would have rather them beat Winnipeg tbh

Last game against Edmonton our one RB had 127 yards on 14 carries and 3 catches for 40 yards.
McAllister also gets carries periodically in our offense.
