Scott Milanovich

So when does Scott Milanovich become head coach?

Offensive Coordinator perhaps.

Steinauer is not going anywhere.

I know that as a former QB he would have made sure Bo was out of harm’s way to end that game. Not celebrating with the defence.

Everyone talks about Chris Jones leaving, Milanovich did the same thing in Edmonton except worse, he never coached a game, took the money and ran.

Steinauers useless. The sooner he’s gone the better

I have no idea why anybody thinks Scott milanovich would be a good head coach. Just Google his professional head coach win loss record. It’s below 500 and arguably should be a lot lower. I seriously think the Thai cats would be making a hideous mistake signing him on as a head coach. Why the CFL keeps on rehiring failed coaches is beyond me. We need new blood.

Agree. I remember some Argo fans calling for his head near the end of 2016. He had run his course there and seemed to have lost control of the team after starting out with a lot of promise in 2012-13. Sound familiar?

Of course coaches can get a new lease on
Life and teams will sometimes respond to a new direction/voice for a year or two. Happens in hockey, coaches get recycled in the NHL all the time.

I don’t see Steinauer getting fired this year. There are so many mediocre teams in the league and Hamilton has just as good of a chance of making the playoffs as Sask, Calgary, Montreal or Ottawa. As long as that’s the case they won’t dismantle the team midseason with the Cup being here. His contract is up at the end of the year though so unless they really turn it on and somehow make it to the GC, I believe the team goes in a new direction for 2024.

Lots of potential good young candidates out there - Buck Pierce, Mark Kilam, Brett Monson (Hamilton guy by the way), maybe even Corey Mace. Time to look at taking a leap of faith with the next crop of up and comers.

Are you saying he will be fired or won’t be fired? I read both statements in this paragraph.

I love this name.

You could build a whole promotion around it … but we would need a different food services provider.

Maybe he goes to a U.S. college team.

I see them firing him at the end of the year, not in the middle of the season. Only thing that would save his job to me would be a Grey Cup appearance at minimum.

I find all the exchanges, on the future of Orlondo, quite amusing.
Who, on the list of titled TiCat management, would fire the HC, during or after this season?
Since the team has no GM, although it does have three assistants to the GM, it would have to be the President of Football Operations, wouldn’t it? IMO, he’s been less efficient at his job, this year, than the HC has been, at his.

The last time we tried new blood it didn’t work out so well.

I highly doubt FIRED and ORLONDO will ever be echoed in Hamilton.

If we want to get rid of him he will “step down to spend time with family”
or leave to a new job to be closer to his family.

What are ya talking about ? The last time was in 2017 where June turned an 0-8 team into a 6-12 team . He then followed that up by taking the ‘kids’ to the playoffs the next season .
