What is going on with the Score Board layout at BMO Field for Toronto Argo Games? I understand the Soccer World Cup is coming, but not having a scoreboard in the center at the end of the field behind the stands, does not make sense to me.
I do not find the 4 up in the corners of the field are not practical viewing for a lot of fans. I think it really takes aways from the game experience. Hope they at least put the main big one back where it belongs in the center of the end field.
I agree they’re too far back at least from our area (125) and don’t appear to be angled towards mid field.
Have to turn around to see the one well in our area. My understanding is the layout will be permanent after the world cup but they need to be larger
Was there ever a scoreboard in the centre? I have only seen the video board/screen at the Food building end.
I would imagine with the expansion of the stadium there will be more video score boards, but don’t know if they will be permanent after the WC.
That is disappointing and terrible if they leave them as is, as I would also agree they are not angled properly at all, they are way to far back and way too small to see from across the field. I am in the next section over and I and many others also would have turn around to see one properly. Heard lots of people complaining and they are not wrong.
And I still think it makes no sense not to have something in the centre of the end field, where it originally was and has been since they opened there.
Sorry I did mean in the center of the field at the Food Building end, so you are correct. But with that Score Board no longer there, many can’t see other ones as they are poorly positioned, too far back and way too small to see from across the field. They need to do something else and/or more.
