Scheduling Conflict?

Oilers play an amazing comeback OT win in game 4.

Stanly Cup game 5 is 8pm EDT.

Our favourite team plays at 7 EDT.

I know what I’m watching but you have to wonder how many fans will be drawn to the hockey game. It’s not the last one but it will have many eyes on it.

DVR…and hope the announcers at the stadium don’t tell us. For that matter, anyone sitting around us.
Some people take great pleasure in spoiling it for others.

That’s the drawback of moving the season earlier. But this will be the last weekend the league goes up against NHL/NBA finals. Suspect if not for a Canadian team being in the Cup final and/or people following Hamilton’s SGA for OK City there wouldn’t be much of an issue.

Easy decision.

Never liked the Coilers anyhow, hope they lose. Go Cats!

Last night I watched the Winnipeg/ BC game and checked out the hockey during commercials. No conflicts for me when it comes to the CFL.

That’s ok if you’re watching the games on TV, but casual fans will likely watch hockey, which may also affect tomorrow’s attendance.

I’ll be at the stadium tomorrow.

Me too and the forecast is looking better than a couple of days ago, it should be dry 19°at kick-off, 17°at half-time and 15° by the 4th quarter.

Easy Decision.
7 to 8 Garney Henley.
8 Edmonton Oilers in their quest to bring Stanley home.

Hockey has no business being played in June…should be over by Mid May.

I’ll be at the stadium…hopefully not watching the repeat of last year’s visit by Riders…but Ticats rarely disappoint early in the season. :face_with_peeking_eye:

The NHL? The dumb little league the has denied Hamilton for 40 years? Why would anyone in this city support that league?
