The team posted on response to a fan asking that it was moved to Nov 2.

Thanks for your email. We had a last minute change in game day programming that was out of our control and as a result, we’ve shifted Fan Appreciation Day to November 2nd.

When the Cats clinched we figured we needed a reason to get people to show up to a very meaningless Nov 2nd game.
We figured we could market the 13th win making history idea so we figured we’d push out fan appreciation out so you’ll show up on Nov 2.

I was under the impression from the team site that it was on November 2nd - a game I’ll be attending - so I’m glad to see that it will be on that day. Not that it matters that much to me.
