Red is close enough to Green for the truth for this crowd in Saskatchewan.
I believe it is the only crayon color allowed. Even the 48 and 96 crayon packs must be 48 and 96 shades of green here.

Some interesting facts from the media guide;

  • Now That’s a A First! 2-0 Start with Two Road Wins: The ONLY time that Saskatchewan has ever begun any season at 2-0 where both wins came on the road is 2024. The Riders had never before accomplished that feat in 11 previous seasons where their first two games were away from home (latest 2019).
  • 4th Quarter Dominance 37-3: Saskatchewan is 2-0 based in part on major 4th Quarter success. They have been outscored 48-25 across Q1-Q3 but … in the final 15:00 have a huge 37-3 edge to pull out both late victories.
  • All-Time Gm #103: This game will be the 103rd in their rivalry played across 1961 to 2024 when CFL ‘interlocking’ play began. Saskatchewan leads 52 wins to 46 (4 ties) - and 32-017 at home. The Riders won last week and have a chance to sweep.
  • Riders Home Openers: Saskatchewan dropped their home opener last year which stopped a nice run of wins in Game #1 on their home field. They won their home opener every year from 2018 to 2022.
  • Corey Mace 2-0: Mace has wins in his first 2 CFL games as head coach and looks to go 3-0. The last Riders’ head coaches to win their first 3 games were Corey Chamblin in 2012 and Ken Miller in 2008.

I hope Hamilton wins so I finished 2-2 on this weeks pickems. I hope Hamilton loses so Argos are ahead of them in the standings. Its a tough life.

Thanks for your excellent thread idea of providing the 2024 CFL Post-game Stats.

Since this whole attempt to revamp the stats system last year, I often get fed up waiting for the league to update the stats or even finding them sometimes.

This close-knit CFL community of passionate fans is why I keep coming here and really hope our Forum survives for many more years.

This is actually going to be a huge focus point for me this week. Sask took something like 8 penalties for 110+ yards on special teams last week.

They need to let Mario Alford make the coverage team miss. No stupid blocks or holds tonight.
