True, as is yards per catch
"FootbalYouBet": "dcmoses":Not funny, just making a point. One stat (regardless of what it is) is the most useless tool with which to judge a player. You need to look at the whole picture. 26 yards per carry looks good until you see his carries at 1, 800 yards looks good until you see 8 fumbles, how many touchdowns, how are his numbers when you take out his longest carry ect.
Stats say what the interpreter wants them to say especially when you cherry pick a single stat.
it is understood by anyone with common sense that such stats are only relevant when there is significant number of attempts. Both cornish and sheet have such.
You want to get ignorant go someplace else. I posted a serious response and you want to talk to me like I’m an idiot. To that end may I remind you what you posted, “yards per carry is way more important”. Where is your “common sense” in that statement?
all I did is tell it true. If you want to be offended by the truth, then so be it. Your first response, to my yards per carry post, was idiotic
Usually the points system is something like 1 pt for every 20 yards gained, 6 pts for a TD, ½ pt for a catch sometimes.
So if you have a monster 160 yd game that's 8 pts.
But if you had 50 yds and 2 TDs, that would be 14 pts.
So Sheets being the current TD king would be the best fantasy choice even though other backs are more complete players.
Human stats or fantasy points ...hmmm ...I think I'll just watch the game beyond the stats and leave others to their fantasies.

Sometimes the fantasies are a whole lot more fun though. Especially when my team’s getting their butts kicked.

Similar.
Usually receivers get 6 pts for TD, 1 pt for every 25 yds, 1 or ½ point for a catch, depending on how the league is setup.
QBs usually get 1 pt for every 50 yds, 6 pts for TD -2 for pick, their rushing stats may or may not count.
Sometimes you can pick “a defense” like the Baltimore defense, and then a shutout by Baltimore would be 10 pts, under 10 pts would be maybe 5 pts, under 20 2 pts under 25 1 pt, 3 pts for a turnover, 2 pts for a sack etc.
Then you usually have a kicker. FGs are 3, FG over 40 sometimes is 4 or 5, missed FG sometimes will be -1.
Been about 5 or 6 years since I’ve played.
