Sask -Greg Marshall.

An assistant like Miller can only coach within the system set out by the coordinator. There are no shortage of critics of Marshall's schems esp. pass defense. For all anyone knows Miller may not have been a supporter of Marshall's theories necessarily and no doubt has his own ideas.

Instead of recycling other teams' coaches and promoting in-house, like KJ, might just be the best thing for this team.

Congrats to Greg Marshall, Richie Hall would be the perfect D/C for the Cats with the best linebacking corps in the league and awesome front four, he really needs to get the D/B’s to play better and we have it all.
Lets hope 2011 is great,new stadium,new O/C and new D/C and a Grey Cup.
How’s that for a good year!

Good luck, Greg. Thanks for bringing back the traditional tough Hamilton defence. Hope the Cats can keep it going!

Khari for OC, Hall for DC!
Miller has run a terrible secondary for 2 years in a row now, why promote him?

Is Stubler available?

Pretty sure he already got signed somewhere along the line, though by EDM

My thoughts are that Saskatchewan hired Greg Marshall because he is "cut from the same cloth" as his predecessor Ken Miller.

A real "Players Coach" and someone who the squad will rally around.

Not sure that Bellefeuille has the same respect of his group.

Congrads to Coach Marshall, all the best in Sask. Thanks for EVERYTHING you did for the Ti-Cats, your a class act! :rockin:

Stubler is the new DC in Edmonton.

While agreeing with all else you say here,I don’t think I’d call him a real “Players Coach” but certainly a REAL coach, who I wish had been give the change to run the show here. Bomber DL Doug Brown wrote about Marshall yesterday in his regular Winnipeg Free Press column:

Marshall will have his work cut out for him. He's joining a team that's been to the Grey Cup two straight years, and 3 of the last 4, with its core players returning. In a sense, anything less than a Grey Cup win will be seen as a let-down. Another Grey Cup loss will be barely acceptable, and anything less will be a failure.

And a Calgary reporter write about Greg's long road to where he is now in this article.

It's a nice story about a good man.
