Inhis firstgame as a starting LB Sam Hurl looked very much in place as a starter leading the team with 6 tackles on defense. Kilgore on the 6 game IR Hurl is off to a good start to prove he belongs in the line up next to Peters.
I think the thing will be that having Hurl, Kilgor, and Peters any two of that 3 combonation at the LB spots and there will be no drop off.
You have to think right now that these three are better than any three that finished last season on the field. Butler was bonified starter at Will but when Williams went down at Mike they did a nice juggling act with some vets
YEs,, I think that he is doing fine.. no real downgrade from Butler and I am not surprised... They were neck and neck when both here last cuppla years
