Sakoda on Practice roster, new punter Johnson activated

I heard it, I don't know who this Johnson guy is, I just know he is another import.

Anyone got something on him?

This is just from memory.
Attended TC with the Argo's in 2009 and competed with Medlock for the job of K/P.Johnson won but got injured and Medlock took over and dominated.Johnson was released later on as they no longer needed him.All I know is, I watched him in the pre-season game last year and he is one hell of a punter.Hope that helps :slight_smile:

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today they have added import kicker/punter Eddie Johnson to the roster.

Johnson (6’4 – 240 lbs) played two games for the Toronto Argonauts last season and averaged 46.4 yards on 16 punts. Prior to joining the Argonauts, the 29-year old spent time in the NFL with Detroit, Denver, Washington, New York, Jacksonville and Cincinnati. He was originally drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 6th round (180th overall) in the 2003 NFL Draft. In 16 games with the Vikings, Johnson averaged 39.1 yards per punt.
