Sad but VERY PROUD of this team

I do think that the fight the Ticats showed and the way that they kept this close did surprise many of the Ottawa fans. And Ottawa WAS lucky this season - lucky that they did not have to go through endless injuries to their starters, especially on offense. Being healthy IMO is a good reason why they were as successful as they were in the regular season and why they are moving on. I do not think that they will be even CLOSE to winning against a much stronger EE team if they barely beat our depleted lineup and back up QB.

Kudos to this team for never giving up and fighting hard all season long. They have every reason to be proud of what they accomplished this season even if it fell short of their goal of getting back to and winning the Grey Cup.

tabbie fan: I agree.
I was not able to watch the game because of a prior commitment (I play in a band) and only found about about the result half an hour after the game was over.
Congratulations to Kent Austin for cobbling together a competitive team in the playoffs. The injury situation this season has been horrendous.
This team has nothing to be ashamed of as it heads into the off-season.

I can only agree that the cats had a good offensive game plan. Defensively they gave up big yardage and big plays with very little pressure on Hank. Bring the blitz 2nd and 25!
