Yes dad he is a strutting his stuff.
McMahon although there were some flashes in pre season, can do the talk(arrogance?)but not the walk.
Still I would give him one last chance to start against the Als and then he can walk off into the sunset if he does not like being back up to Allen until King Bishop is ready.
I agree argotom, I think if this was his second game then the concern would come out. In the Calgary son they were critical of Mike saying he could have been the worst QB ever to step on our turf. Hmmm Kevin Feterik, Troy Kop ring a bell. But I agree it was his first game in the CFL and with out 2 of his first string receivers that is a tough call. Mind you grandpa Allen did not bad.
I would have put Allen into the game a lot sooner, not just for the 4th Quarter. I would have put him in to start the 2nd, as the Argos were going nowhere, and it showed on the scoreboard.
Ah Pinball played Santa. He was very kind to us.
Now if wally can do the same it would be great.
I think McMahon comes across as a tiny bit arrogant, but on the other hand, maybe some fans need to cut him some slack in his first game, especially with his two best receivers out of action.
Even the suggestion that he only gets one more chance seems a little harsh.
If the Argos had had that little patience with Bishop, he would have been a parking lot attendant years ago....
Mind you, I haven't seen the game yet.......
I agree Arius. It seems that Mike has more arrogance then my buddy Geronimo Jones. Good thing or bad who knows? Some guys play better with a large ego.

You guys may get JJ.
Christmas continues in Stamp land…
Perhaps the beginning of the end of McMahon is already in sight. I heard yesterday that the Argos signed former Rider backup QB Rocky Butler.
They signed him early last week.....like Monday or Tuesday.....

A little arrogance can be okay. And sometimes these things get blown up in the media.
I personally find it fascinating to watch fans react to their QBs(and other positions too).
After the pre-season, there were suggestions McMahon was the second coming and far and away should have been annointed number uno.
Now, after just one game, there are some fans ready to throw him under the bus.
I love it!
Having seen both McMahon and Butler start, I'd take Butler in a heartbeat.
True and I think it has everything to do with his arrogance. He came in spouting off and in his first game showed that he could be possibly the worst QB in the league. But It is the arrogance he is being judged on and off course his first appearance as a starter. Now If I were an argo fan (Argotom tell me if I am wrong) I would wait one more game and then bring on the bus.

Maybe I wouldnt throw him under the bus, but I would buy a ticket for McMahon for the next one that leaves the Center of the Universe.
I see in Rider terms give him the road apple and a road map.
Red you are correct about the "one more game rule".
If McMahon stinks the joint out next game and Damon comes in relief and does not fare much better, just like yesterday, show Mike McMahon the door as we know he won't hold the clipboard.
In fact, if this happens I would consider starting Rocky Butler the game after over Allen.
The good thing about the 18 long game schedule and especially this year in the East, the "race" is a marathon and not a sprint.
With Bishop possibly coming back earlier then the estimated 6-8 weeks, all is not lost.
For sure Argotom.
I predict that McMahon will be as big a bust here as he was in the NFL...
Well sambo you just might be right.
