Rumour: Did Some Players Break Curfew ??

  1. This was a rumour that surfaced on the 5th Quarter Show on CHML after the game.

Some one called in and said that they had heard of a rumour making the rounds, that 3 or 4 TiCat
players had broken curfew the night before the Grey Cup game !!

Rick Zamperin said that he had heard the same rumour also, but he wanted proof before he would
comment on the rumour at that time.

Just wondering if anyone on here has heard anything regarding this rumour ??

And don’t jump on me for bringing it up, I am only going by what I heard on CHML.
As the old saying goes, where there’s smoke, there is usually fire !!

If true it is not the ability to perform the next day IMO.

It is the fact that you are not taking things as seriously as you should be.

Max McGee of the Green Bay Packers spent the night with 2 stewardesses and returned to the team hotel at 6 :30 in the morning .

Later that day he caught 7 passes for 138 yards and 2 touchdowns . The first TD in Super Bowl history was scored by a guy hung over from the night before .

He was voted MVP of the game and won a Corvette. Not bad for a 34 year old who had caught 4 passes total , during the season .

If curfew is broken, maybe that’s not such a bad thing .

Pat Lynch (the old guy)

So for next year we don’t need to bother with Ric Flair or past Grey Cup teams.

We just need to bring in a lot of stewardesses.

“Bring him to Hamilton.”

LOL - it was inevitable. Now why didn’t I think of that?

So playing Parchessi with cheerleaders will enhance your abilities?

Maybe they went to a late church service?

He said Stewardesses.

They are Flight Attendants.

Mistakes like this, by fans, is why we lost the Grey Cup.

See other thread. ?

So I take back my cheerleader comment (was thinking of Zambiasi in 1986?) but back in the sixties (which I don’t recall so I lived through them) Flight Attendants were called Stewardesses. Don’t be a revisionary, okay? ;D ;D ;D

The word “stewardesses” is the longest word in the English language that can be typed on a keyboard using only the left hand, when one uses the proper typing technique.

Now, back to the topic of bad boys.

You have a gift, my son!

Sorry, no cigar. Those are 2 words joined together. Of course if you speak German, then I guess you win!

So that leaves the other hand free? ;D

you people

You’re not allowed to say that.
