Exciting game, important win vs a tough western opponent .

two relatively evenly matched teams. but, i think if riders had more healthy players this one isn’t as close.

And the consensus was the riders were going to be dead men walking this season.
What a pleasant surprise.
Still thoogh, at this point I do not see anyone getting past BC this 2023 playoffs

Then add Begelton and Carey and how does your equation calc out? Not to mention we lost Henry before things got exciting.

Harris >> Meier and it’s not even close

i’m probably wrong. after yesterday, i sort of expect these two teams to be neck and neck this season.

Totally agree, the veteran bested the newbie all night long…but otherwise these are equally placed teams and one of them will be fourth n the west this year…

Probably we should add coaching in the mix too…

i’m just of the opinion that all things being equal, quarterback play will generally determine the outcome. Stamps run game should be feared but their OL doesn’t seem as strong this season. if i’m Dickenson, i’d be nailing Meier to the bench and playing Stevenson and Carey (when he’s back) in wildcat every offensive play.

Which will probably be good enough for 3rd in the East.

By record, maybe even 2nd. But yes, one will likely cross over

Most likely the horsies turn on the rota…I can’t remember if they’ve ever done that or not…haveta to go look…

So far yes, a pleasant surprise.

I really hope the Elk turn it around today.
Much more exciting football when all western teams are competitive on the field

I can see why Dickenson likes Maier he is a straight-shooting, no-nonsense talker and his play on the field should steadily improve with his positive demeanor.

At the least getting him more time with “play packages”. Between Stevens, Mills and Carey they should be the three headed running dragon…

The Riders usually win the games that count most against Calgary. Playoff games usually.
