It would appear that the Cats intended to include Drisan James on the Depth Chart, but have left his name off. He IS listed on the Active Roster. Dennis Haley IS on the Depth Chart, but is NOT on the Active Roster list. BOTH have been removed from the Injured List and added to the Active Roster according to the league transactions for Sept. 17. As shown today, both the Roster and Depth Chart list only 45 players (1 short of normal).
So, if James is the 46th, then 3 of the 4 going on the Reserve List, an hour before tomorrow's game, will have to be Imports. Caulley would be one plus two of these four -- Haley, James, Lamont Reid and Gordon.
Based on reading between the lines of MB's comments during the week, I expect Haley and Gordon will sit.
The only other Import listed as a backup on the Depth Chart is Bruce. Hopefully nothing is wrong with him, but leaving James off the Depth Chart today, could be an attempt to hide something until the Reserves are announced.
The non-import on the Reserve would again be Jermaine Reid.
Further to above, I now see a DIFFERENT Roster and Depth Chart under the main page heading STATS. I was looking at those under TEAM. James IS added to the Depth Chart under STATS, so the only comment that still stands from my post above is that 3 of the 4 named tomorrow as Reserves will have to be Imports. Caulley will be one plus two of these four – Haley, James, Lamont Reid and Gordon, with Jermaine Reid again the Non-Import Reserve. I expect Haley and Gordon to sit out.
If Lamount Reid dresses for the game he could be our answer as a kick returner.
