RIP Tony Proudfoot

For those of you who may have missed it, we have lost a major member of the Alouettes' family - Tony Proudfoot - who passed away on Wednesday.

While this was inevitable with ALS, it is still a sad day for the Als' family, which includes all of us fans. Tony "the staplegun" Proudfoot was a trooper on and off the field and was, in my opinion, an example of how professional athletes should deport themselves. We wish his family our deepest condolences in this difficult time. RIP Tony Proudfoot.

Just like with Pat Burns u know this day is coming. But when it comes it still hurts. RIP Tony, the Alouettes won the 2010 Grey Cup for you!

Rest in peace, Tony.

My condolences to Tony's family.

Great player Tony Proudfoot. I remember the 1974 and 1977 Grey Cup games. My prayers go out to the family.

He wanted to make it through Xmas with his family... Winner till the very end. My respects to his loving family and friends.

RIP Tony. Your strength and courage will be remembered...always.
