RIP Pigskin Pete

I read today that TiCats #1 fan and cheerleader, Pigskin Pete passed away. The entire CFL is better for having enjoyed his antics or perhaps in some cases maybe not if you were from Toronto.

He was, above all else, a great fan and will be missed.

Oskee Wee Wee, RIP.

The pregame stadium wide Oskee Wee Wee cheer hopefully will be as loud as ever this Sunday in a tribute to Pigskin Pete - Paul Weiler!

For my few visits at Ivor Wynne he was a real fixture and hopefully his legancy continues in THF.

Good that he got to see the first game and the future of the Tigercats secure... I look back at years like 1994 when I assumed that I had seen the last TiCats game... There was 13000 fans at their season finale... Like to think this team would survive is a miracle on its own

R.I.P. and condolences to family , a great CFL fan.      Always will be remembered in HAMILTON and around the league!

R.I.P

He had his own way of leading the Oskee wee wee cheer. encouraged fans to get loud

A loss for the CFL not just the Ti-Cats. Fans like that don't come along every day. Nice the Ti-Cats have a home game this weekend to pay tribute.

Condolences to the family. Pete was a die hard Ti-Cat fan and true blue CFL fan, he'll be missed

Well done Pigskin Pete, well done. We're going to miss you.

BTW, I think the title in the ticat forum is more appropriate. Just a suggestion.

Here is the thread from the Ti-Cat forum OSKI-WEE-WEE !!!!!! You will be missed, and thank you Paul for all the great memories over the years OSKI-WAW-WAW !!!!! TIGERS EAT EM RAW!!!!! :rockin: :rockin: :cowboy:

RIP to a true CFL legend whose contribution to the league stretched over generations…

This thread says a lot about Paul's notoriety.....

Is there any other single fan from any other team that is as well known as Pigskin Pete?

R.I.P Paul

Cheers from a TiCat's fan who has followed you in MANY Oskee WeeWee's
