Part of one of the most bizarre trades in pro football history…

Bud Grant, who was coaching the Minnesota Vikings somehow got Kapp through waivers and traded Kapp for Jimmy Young with the BC Lions. The Vikes needed a QB after Fran Tarkenton had been traded to the New York Giants and Grant knew Kapp pretty well from being the head coach with Winnipeg …Somehow the Argonauts were involved in it…
