Congrats to the Saskatchewan Roughriders on a fine performance to win the Grey Cup. ouch my head! What a week of celebrating all that is good about the CFL. Met fans of all teams in the league including Ottawa. We have something special here folks. A great tradition that is uniquely Canadian!!! It went our way this year but could be any team in the next. A fabulous win by a great team for the best fans in the league. I am still pinching myself today and cried like a baby when I knew we had finally, finally won the Cup. Congrats to the team, coaches, management and Rider Nation.
I would also like to give big congrats to Geroy Simon - so happy to see him get those 2 TDs. He came to our team to provide a vets perspective and help out with the odd catch LOL - thanks Geroy for all you did to help us with this win!
I wonder if Wally Buono knew that trading Geroy to the Roughriders meant a $16000 bonus at the end of the season for Geroy, another Grey Cup ring [2nd in 3 seasons] and all the seedless watermelon he can eat until he finally retires. Life is good in Sasquatch land. :rockin:

The only question I really have about the game is although Sheets had one heck of a game,how can they say he set a new rushing record??? The play when Lawrence rocked Durant and the ball was knocked out,right into Sheets hands where he ran for a 39 yd gain......would that not be classified as a fumble return and not a rush from scrimmage???? That play IMO really set the tone for how the game was going to go for the Cats,not only were they up against a sea of green in the stands(visually,very impressive on T.V.)put it looked like the football Gods were also against us,with the Riders going to get all the breaks in the game.I really feel that,that play as well as the 2nd and 19 scamper by Sheets were the two major plays that sealed the game for the Riders.The Cats are a young team,inexperienced in playing in this type of game.The Riders,a veteran laden squad,took them to school and showed them what needs to be done to win a championship.Over-all though,let me just say that I am extremly proud of how this season turned out for the Cats,no one at the start of the year would have gave us a snow balls chance in hell to make the play-offs,let alone the Grey Cup.Even though they didn't win the Cup this year,the future looks way more brighter here than it did a year ago....and light years ahead of where this team once was back in the dark years of "03" to "08".In closing this CFL season has been a blast!!!! Can't wait for 2014 to get under way!!!!! RIDERS 2013 GREY CUP CHAMPIONS!!!! Ti-CATS 2014 GREY CUP CHAMPIONS!!!!
