Riders vs Bombers

Rod Black and Duanne Forde. It's official, the TSN wants to torture Rider fans.

Yup, the Toronto Sports Network hates flatlanders.

I'm addicted to radio, so I don't mind dialing down TSN's volume, and tuning into CJOB (winnipeg) or 620 The Source in Regina on the Interweb.

I’ll be tuning into the radio broadcast on Sirius. Did Rod Black actually call the Bomber O pathetic on national TV? True though it may be that’s a major no-no for play by play guys.

My Bombers are so bad this year that nobody is giving them any chance of beating the Riders today. Many are predicting a total beatdown. One of the headlines in the Free Press asked, "How bad will it be?" LOL How's that for optimism?

True, things are a mess but they've got to get better under Wade Millar, right?

In the meantime, Go Bombers!

Nothing more dangerous than a team with nothing to lose and Winnipeg can’t possibly get much lower than they already are.

Well, at least they drew first blood. Actually, so far, not a bad game at all.

2 helmet to helmet hits already - one on each team and neither called

Rider offense slow to get going but the d is on thier game thank god!!!!!

They both dropped their shoulders and wound up colliding. Good non-call.

Winnipeg got away with a facemask there on DD.

Call on Dwight Anderson (again).

Rod Black just said, "Bombers on top, again." Love the sound of that on Labour Day!

Whoda thunk the BBs would have a lead in this game??

I know it's legal, but I would love to see the league change the rules to give a delay of game on QB's deliberately throwing it out of bounds to avoid a sack.

Like the puck going over the glass being a penalty. I agree.

Wasn’t expecting much today and don’t want to jinx it, but good game so far.

Not quite. Not an automatic call, but where it is obvious it’s done to avoid a loss then absolutely. No specific yardage, make it a dead ball from where the QB released the ball.

It should be called as grounding with loss of down - either take the sack or risk the pass

Aussie style kick? Did I miss something? Did Bartel get traded to Saskatchewan?

Oh Rowdy Roddy you just can't help yourself can you.
